This MPN Voice patient support event will focus on managing the emotional and wellbeing aspects for people with MPNs during the COVID-19 pandemic, keeping safe and living well during the uncertainty.
Feeling concerned or overwhelmed by the news of Coronavirus is understandable, whether you are thinking about your own health, or for someone close to you.
This patient support event will help you to manage these feelings, the speakers will talk about different coping strategies and ways to stay safe. We will be joined by Dr Tara Houlihan, a Senior Clinical Psychologist at the Mercy Hospital, Cork, Avril Gleeson, Clinical Nurse Specialist Haematology, at the Mercy Hospital, Cork, and Mary Moriarty, a CNS, Systemic Psychotherapist and Complementary Therapist, at St Vincent’s Hospital, Dublin.
