Friends of Anchor have teamed up with Aberdeen Royal Infirmary to deliver a free to attend, bite-sized education session for MPN patients; family members and clinical staff/HCPs who live and work in the NHS Grampian area, to learn about MPNs, including treatments and how recent research could help with new therapies.
Dr Beverley Robertson, Consultant Haematologist, Aberdeen Royal Infirmary will talk about:
- The signs and symptoms of MPNs
- Current treatments in NHS Grampian
- Support available in NHS Grampian for those facing a diagnosis
- What research is being done
Date and times: Wednesday 4 September 2024, arrival from 5:15 pm, session starting sharp at 5.30 pm ending at 6.30 pm (17:30 – 18:30) BST
Venue: Aberdeenshire Cricket Club, Morningside Road, Aberdeen, AB10 7FB.
This is a free to attend event with complimentary tea/coffee and sweat treats.
