The video of the MPN Voice patients’ virtual forum, held on 16 Jan 2026, is now available to view.
The American Society of Hematology (ASH) conference serves as a pivotal platform for haematology professionals, attracting over 30,000 delegates and showcasing nearly 8,000 unique scientific abstracts, making it the largest gathering in the field. This prestigious event not only allows for the presentation of cutting-edge research but also fosters critical discussions and debates surrounding emerging data, ultimately advancing the understanding and treatment of blood cancers and disorders.
The MPN Voice virtual forum provided a platform for presenters to discuss key findings and breakthroughs from the ASH 2025 conference, emphasizing advancements in the understanding and treatment of myeloproliferative neoplasms (MPNs).
The presentations included:
- Introduction to ASH and what it is – Prof Claire Harrison, Guy’s & St Thomas’ Hospital
- Therapies targeting CALR and JAK2V617F – Prof Beth Psaila, Oxford University NHS FT
- Interferon updates – Dr Alesia Khan, Leeds NHS FT
- Updates for PV – Dr Pryia Sriskandarajah, Guy’s & St Thomas’ Hospital
- Combination therapies in MF – Prof Claire Harrison, Guy’s & St Thomas’ Hospital
- A panel Q&A session – including all speakers
The panel also shared what they are most excited about for 2026.
