This forum is an opportunity to meet other people with MPNs, to share knowledge and to hear the latest news on MPNs from the haematology team based in Raigmore Hospital, Inverness.
You are welcome to attend this forum regardless of where you live or which hospital you attend, if you are prepared to travel to attend then we will be more than happy to see you. You are welcome to bring family/friends with you. There is no fee to attend, complimentary buffet lunch and refreshments will be provided.
The programme is still being finalized, it will include presentations from Dr Joanne Craig; Dr Frances Buckley; MPN CNS Angela Whitty; Alice Watson, speaking about young people with MPNs and the MPN Voice Young Patient Network; other speakers still to be confirmed, plus MPN patients sharing their MPN journey. There will also be a panel Q&A session. With breakout groups where ET, MF and PV patients can meet in smaller groups to discuss everyday challenges and swap tips, and a group for partners/family/friends to meet to discuss everyday challenges faced by the patient and themselves.
