Overview – we are looking to hold an in-person forum in London for people with MPNs aged 40 and under, on Saturday 5 September 2026, 1.30 – 6 pm.
Following on the success from last year, we are looking to run another Young Patients’ Forum, for MPN patients aged 40 and under only, it is an opportunity to meet with other young people, to hear the latest news on MPNs; managing symptoms; sharing knowledge and receiving information tailored to young patient experiences and challenges. You are welcome to bring a partner/family member/friend with you (maximum one guest only).

In order to hold this event we will need a minimum number of people attending. Your registration will help us to assess the interest in this event. This is not a booked event as yet, this is a show of interest to assess viability. We will keep you posted on the progress.
The programme will include presentations covering MPNs in general; the research study of young patient experiences; lifestyle tips including schooling and career planning; fertility and pregnancy; psychological impact of living with a chronic illness; MPN patients sharing their MPN journey and a Q&A session. Plus breakout groups where ET, MF and PV patients can meet in smaller groups to discuss everyday challenges and swap tips. Plus a group where partners/family/friends can meet to discuss everyday challenges faced by the patient and themselves. The speakers TBC.
